Lindsey Spector, LICSW



Lindsey Spector is an LICSW (Massachusetts) with many years of experience in the mental health field with children, adolescents and adults that have sought support for a multitude of struggles and desired changes.

She has worked extensively with children and adolescents, as well as their families, struggling with significant emotional and behavioral disorders, often because of experiencing some form of trauma within their lives that include multiple forms of abuse, neglect, abandonment, sex trafficking, displacement, and substance abuse.

She has experience and certifications in SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy) Therapy, Neurofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as a Trauma Certification from The Trauma Center in Brookline, MA. She has utilized a multitude of evidenced based treatment modalities, stemming from her foundational experience with the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, Competency) Framework, that allow her to tailor treatment interventions to each individual client and their family. She also works to ensure that interventions can be transferred from session time to home or other environments, such as school or work, so that the clients can continue to acquire and improve healthy skills while internalizing them and continuing to engage in their day to day experiences. Lindsey has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and co-morbid disorders such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, oppositional defiant disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorder, and many more.

Lindsey has experience working with individuals, siblings and families, as well as working with the legal system for individuals that are involved with the court system or probation.

Other areas of interest include parent psycho education training, transition to adulthood, behavioral analysis and interpretation, and the criminal justice system.

Lindsey earned her Master’s degree in Social work from Boston College in 2012.

Lindsey’s main goal is to provide individuals with the skills they require to engage in a healthy lifestyle that promotes the unique qualities that make each of us who we are and to continue to strive for more.
